History

The Armory was a publisher and distributor of table-top games.  It was founded in 1976 by Roy Lipman and eventually taken over by his son, Max Lipman before merging with Chessex to form Alliance Game Distributors.  They specialized in board games, dice, miniature war games and even had some crayons they sold.
