1905 – Binney & Smith introduces their Gold Medal box of 8 crayons.  This uses the Eagle side of their Gold Medal from the 1904 St. Louis World’s Fair.  Though originally on one box, this would later expand to the entire line but Eagle side would only be used for this initial No 8 box.  Spectra was also introduced this year.
