2014 and 2015 saw a continued flood of theme'd Crayola boxes designed for Target and Walmart stores.  They continued expanding the "Pick your Pack" which included 16-color boxes as well now.

Crayola Fang-Tastic - 8 colors.jpg  Crayola No 64 (Star Wars Darth Vader) - 64 colors.jpg  Crayola Avengers Assemble (Captain America) - 8 colors.jpg  Crayola Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (Goofy) - 8 colors.jpg

In addition, Crayola expanded their appeal through the use of licensed characters including a Disney partnership.  This yielded many new boxes but no new colors as each box was simply a special chosen set of colors from their current color palette.  This Disney partnership also included some Star Wars boxes in the 64-color size but again no new colors.

However, there was one exception.  Crayola introduced some Minion crayon boxes to promote the 2015 summer release of the Minions movie and did introduce a new color for one of the boxes:  Banana Bonanza.  This was only a renamed  Neon Carrot crayon however but at least color collectors had a new name to collect.

Color Alive

Then, Crayola introduced Color Alive in 2015.  This was a technology breakthrough that allowed their customers to color using special crayons and these could be then brought into the digital world.  It was a unique concept that won Crayola many awards and introduced several new color names as well.

Crayola Color Alive Minions - 7 colors.jpg Crayola Color Alive Monster High - 7 colors.jpg Crayola Color Alive (Frozen) - 7 colors.jpgCrayola Color Alive (Avengers) - 7 colors.jpg

By the time the series reached the 2.0 stage, Crayola wasn't putting special crayons in them anymore and so the Zombies version had no crayons.

The new colors from these were:

(I had previously documented that these were new true colors when in fact they were not)
